Land's End to John o'Groats, solo, camping all the way. · 2 June 2014

Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Rosa Trowbridge-Hamilton

Rosa Trowbridge-Hamilton is 31 and a glass artist and sculptor. She has had Multiple Sclerosis for nearly 16 years. She gained a 2.1 Honours Degree in Fine Art Sculpture in 2010 despite living with Multiple Sclerosis since the age of 16, Rosa’s art practice is placed firmly in her own experience of severe illness displayed in her recent solo exhibition, Glass Darkly, in Cardiff.  She continues to explore new techniques despite the encroachment of disability.  Rosa’s determination to make art, her innovative approach to the medium of glass and her unflinching creative dissection of her experience of living with Multiple Sclerosis have inspired other sufferers, both young and old. She has an eight year old daughter who wants to be an artist like her mother.

20th August, 2014: this page closes soon.  Thanks to everyone who donated  (despite my having to abandon before reaching John o'Groats, thanks to Campylobacter - your good faith was much appreciated).
