Yeldall Walk for Freedom 2014 · 10 May 2014 ·

Yeldall Manor (charity: Yeldall Christian Centres) is a Christian addiction recovery centre near Reading. For over 40 years, we have been helping men to overcome serious drug or alcohol addictions and return to society to live new lives, drug-, alcohol- and crime-free. Sustainable Christian recovery

Story

Completed the walk and feeling fine despite missing a way point and taking a 2/3 mile detour. Thanks for those who have provided sponsorship but still time to become a sponsor.

I am raising funds for Yeldall Manor by taking part in the Walk for Freedom which will take place on 10 May and I will follow a 12-mile route along the Thames Path from Marlow to Yeldall Manor.

The walk is to raise money for the Good Samaritan Bursary Fund, which helps those men who cannot otherwise obtain funding to access Yeldall’s life-changing rehabilitation programmes.

Last year a team of 40 people raised £20,000 and we’re looking to double that this year!
