Story
It was not until my late mother was diagnosed with bowel cancer that I realised how common and, potentially, life-threatening this disease is. I hope my 40km walk on 15 May 2010 will raise some funds which will contribute in some way to assisting Bowel Cancer UK with the research and care that those diagnosed with bowel cancer will, inevitably, rely upon. Also undertaking this walk are Jill and Michael: both of whom are walking 10km for the same charity.
