Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist lifelong health & wellbeing support for the UK fire & rescue community, empowering individuals and families to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives. This includes serving and retired firefighters, control and support teams.

Story

Last year we embarked on, and succeeded, in an attempt to break the previous 29 hour rugby match record. The FFC team emerged victorious, beating the Scotty's team to the spoils, however it was the charities that were the real winners. Together we raised tens of thousands of pounds for the charities. Unfortunately, due to a Worcester Warriors technical error, the footage was lost and so the record did not stand... but we go again. This time aiming for 32 hours of rugby played.

I appreciate that some of you have previously sponsored me and that helped the Firefighters Charity Raise over £25,000 last time out! However we have all been given the target of raising £300 which I'm sure you can all help me achieve.

Over the past year I have seen first hand on my station the work that The Firefighters Charity does to help those in need and within the fire service family. This is the same charity that is still helping those involved with the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

Thanks in advance.
