I'VE DONE IT.  Ten hours sat in the saddle. The weather was not too hot though a little wet for an hour.  I dipped my bike wheel in the water on both the east and west coasts.  Would I do it again?  YES I would.  A big THANK YOU to all those who sponsered me. THANK YOU.

 

 

We, as a family, have sponsored a street child through TOYBOX.  In the TOYBOX cafe at New-Wine we heard about a cycling challenge along Hadrian's Wall, 150 miles in one day.  My Wife said to me "you could do that".  As a result I am now committed to complete the challenge.  This is a very small commitment from me to help these children who have very little. 

TOYBOX is a charity which focusses on the street children of Latin America.  These are street childrenwho have no home.  These children are survivors of injustice, natural disaster and personnel tradegy.  Some hope for a hot meal, a shower and clean clothes.  Others hope for a family and a home.  Whatever their dream, TOYBOX aims to listen to them and make their voices heard, raising awareness of their plight.  Each and every day, lives are being changed through the work of TOYBOX.
