Many thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Between the 14th and 18th of July I will be cycling 312km (ie, 195 miles) from the picturesque resort of Le Touquet through the beautiful Somme Valley amongst major WW1 battlefields and monuments to finish at the Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate in Ypres, in aid of humanitarian landmine clearance charity MAG.
The money you donate will help MAG - co-laureate of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize - to reduce the suffering caused by remnants of conflict, by working with communities around the world and training local staff. MAG is a leader in its field currently working worldwide, clearing landmines and removing unexploded bombs, to help people in conflict-affected communities rebuild their lives.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate.
Any donation you can give will spur me on to complete the challenge, and more importantly, support the work of this worthwhile charity.
Best wishes, and thanks in advance,
David
