Mental Health UK is here for anyone experiencing a mental health problem. We are made up of four organisations based in each of the four nations of the UK, working together to improve mental health.

Story

I work for Mental Health UK and see on a daily basis the incredible work that the charity does.

I am running the Great Scottish Run as part of my training for the Snowdon Ultra 50, a 50 mile race through the mountains of Snowdonia.

The race takes on Snowdon, Tryfan, Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach, Pen Yr Olwen and both the Carneddau. There will be a total of 4192m of ascent over the 50 miles of the unmarked route which requires navigation through the night and contributes to UTMB qualifying points

The money raised will go to supporting the Young Peoples Programme that will provide better access to mental health support for young people. Helping to build their resilience and wellbeing to cope with the stressors of transition periods in their lives, like exams, jobs and university.
