Story

The Dirty Sweaty Cyclists thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Sunday May 9th, 32 riders completed the Manchester to Huddersfield Mountain Bike Marathon along a 43 mile route comprising  the Rochdale, Calder and Hebble, and Huddersfield Broad canals. 

The team comprised:- Debbie Burniston, Nasreen Akram, Jason Uttley, Stephen Brook, Patrick Currivan, Sue Morris, Rob Porter, Brendan Halliday, Steve Foxcroft, Jacob Holness, Tony Haynes, Ben Sykes, Gareth Walford, Martin Bradley, James Stirling, David Slocombe, Jamie XXX Scurrah, Lee Parkhouse, Elliott Jewitt, Aidan Jewitt, Colin Gater, Kevin Glover, Paul Ince, Andrew Collins, Jonathan Slocombe, Emma Scott,Paul Benton, Andrew Pollard, Lindsey Pollard, Mark Gaughan, Andy Lowther, Ellie Toker  and they all rode to raise money for the Forget Me Not Trust. 


The trust exists to build and run a hospice and respite centre for seriously ill children. If you can help by making a contribution, not just the team of riders, but the carers, patients and families will be very grateful.
