Walk with ME · 24 May 2015
We are really blessed to still have Kara Jane Spencer in our lives today after years of decline during her fight for her life. The main reason Kara is still fighting for her life is so she may still make a difference is the world, blessing others and hopefully assisting in finding a cure for the next generation as Kara believes it may be too late for herself.
Since Jenny (her mum) and My self (her dad) started to notice Kara was not well at aged eleven we have been accused of putting her illness in her head, even our own family sending Munchhausen links and Doctors and Consultants sending her for Psychiatric help when her symptoms had been life threatening.
Kara has nearly lost her fight for life on three occasions with the worst only having a 5% chance of survival, Its not great being moved into a waiting room, hoping that she could be saved and praying to God that we understand if its her time.
I'm sure that other parents, sisters, brothers, family and friends can relate with this and all we ask is that there is more coordinated research, therefore creating greater knowledge and expertise then hopefully finding a cure, faster diagnosis and action to treatment for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME).
Recent data shows that with fast diagnosis and intervention many patients can improve and get well. The longer things are left, the less of the chance of recovery.
So please join us in any way you can, by prayer, by walking with us, by donating, by spreading the word with friends and professionals in our walk for ME on the 24th of May 2015.
By helping you will inspire above 250,000 sufferers in the UK to fight for their life and show them that we will stand in the gap for them and they do matter to us.
Its a lovely day!
