My wife and I have been involved with Shiva for over 10 years now. Next month is our 10th wedding anniversary and what a great way to celebrate this milestone by doing something for a charity we care very much about.

Not only can I raise money by doing something I am passionate about, but also I can do it in Sri Lanka, where we can visit the school we sponsor, its staff, children and Manager, Kumar!

This is the first major Triathlon event to be held in Sri Lanka and I will be competing in the Olympic distance event (also called 5150 series). I hope to arrange for the kids and parents to attend, to watch what I hope will be a fun day for everyone whilst at the same time rasing money for Shiva, so it can contiue with the great work that Bob and everyone does day-in day-out, year-in year-out.

Shiva has achieved so much in Sri Lanka and Napal, but there is always more to be done. I hope the money I can raise will continue to benefit the lives and education of all the children Shiva helps.
