We are in our forties, family men, commuters, and in truth, too busy to train, but we do enjoy a curry and glass of wine when planning our cycling adventures. The peak of this years preparation has been to agree to wear red tops so we are accurately presented as ‘Team Allez les Rouges’. This year, we have enrolled in two cycle sportives, three weeks apart. The 102 mile Castle Ride, around our home county of Kent and the 80 mile Wiggle Dragon Ride through the dramatic Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains of Wales. Both take us on stunning but 'lumpy' routes, with each ride climbing about 2,000m.

We will of course enjoy the challenge of the events but are also raising money for the charity Prostate Cancer UK, the official charity of the Wiggle Dragon ride. They work to help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life.
