Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Some of you may be aware that I have taken on the challenge of completing the Deloitte Ride Across Britain (http://www.rideacrossbritain.com/Default.aspx).  This challenge, which starts on 12 June 2010, involves a 1,000-mile mass cycle down the length of Great Britain, from John O'Groats to Land's End, with 600 cyclists (including James Cracknell and Rebecca Romero) covering more than 110 miles per day.  We will be cycling through some of 's finest scenery, from the banks of Loch Lomond and Loch Ness, camping at the head of Loch Linnhe under Ben Nevis, Glencoe, Lake Windermere and the Lake District, , Cheddar Gorge, and Bodmin Moor. With over 73,000ft of ascent to conquer in the nine days, I have been training hard for the last six months, cycling over 2,500 miles to try and be able to enjoy some of the great scenery!

Many of you will already be donating regularly to The Ironmongers' Foundation and if you feel you have done/are doing your bit already, then please feel free to ignore this email.  However, I am keen to use the challenge to raise some money for The Ironmongers' Foundation if I can.  I have paid for the full cost of the ride so any money you give will go to The Ironmongers' Foundation involved (with Gift Aid).

Thank you for your interest and if you are able to support The Ironmongers' Foundation that would be great.

Kind regards

Yours truly

David
