WE HAVE FINISHED THE RIDE BUT STILL NEED DONATIONS TO HIT A £30,000 STRETCH TARGET.

I would do it again tomorrow, well maybe a week or two later!

Keep up to date check for blogs and pictures plus live position status at  http://www.dallagliocycleslam.com/

I think that most people who know me realise now that I can be a bit of a soft touch, well who better than old Dell Boy Dallaglio to touch me up and convince me that it would be a good idea to ride over 500KM on a charity bike ride.

It must have been another lunch and a very weak moment for me when I said yes!

500KM on a bike ride! You've got to be joking I only just graduated from the Fat Boy's Lunch Club onto my Wii Fit, how will I fit into those ridiculously tight bike shorts? What chance does a bloke like me have to make the distance of 549KM's from  Rosslare to Edinburgh, yes that's right I will be cycling under water.

The really big challenge though is that if your are very generous with your donations it will put more pressure on me to lose weight, get fit and complete the distance. I just need your support to make the incentive even bigger, embarrass me by your generousity into completing this challenge.

For some of the athletes doing the cycle slam with us it will be a walk in the park, for me it will be like climbing Mt Everest. Lawrence has always been generous with his time and ready to support a friend when they ask, so Iam asking all of my friends and acquaintances to do the same and help me raise as much as I can for a number of great charities.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

PS: Check for up-dates as I let you know our progress.

Look forward to your support,

David "Aussie Dog" Yarnton
