On November 1, I will be participating in the 5 day "Wheels of Love" bike ride to raise money for the Alyn Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel.

Alyn is Israel's premier Pediatric and Adolescence Rehabilitation Center and is one of the world's leading specialists in the active and intensive rehabilitation of children, regardless of religion or ethnic origin. As a non government hospital every year Alyn has a significant shortfall in its budget and relies on The Wheels of Love ride, now in its 10th year, to make good this deficit.

Alyn treats children suffering from a broad range of physical disabilities including trauma and head injuries from terror attacks and road accidents, special feeding management, burns, rehabilitation following the removal of tumours and congenital or progressive muscle, nerve and bone diseases and respiratory insufficiency.

This year the ride will commence in Rosh Pina, head north towards the Lebanese border and then move across to the Golan and the slopes of Mt Hermon. Afterwards the ride will head south across the Golan Heights and the last day will be an ascent from Modi'in up to Jerusalem finishing at the Alyn hospital itself. All of the above will be "off road" and each rider will cover ~70 km per day

I have personally covered all of my expenses so you can be sure that 100% of your donation will go directly to the hospital and the children who so very much need your support.

Although I realize that this is a challenging economic environment I would truly appreciate any support you can provide in helping me raise as much money as possible to help these very needy children

Many thanks for your support

David
