Story
Thank you so much for visiting my Just Giving page.
My challenges all revolve around cycling and start on the 20th April with a 75 mile event called The Rutland Cicle Tour.
Next up and as in 2012, I have committed to cycling 100 miles on the 4th May around the Midlands in the Century Cycle Challenge. It will be a significant challenge but one that I am training hard for and hope to complete in a good time.
Three weeks later I am riding 180km around Lake Geneva in an event called Cyclotour du Leman which will be another test of my legs and lungs.
The 9th June is the Leicestershire Supertour which will be a 68mile sprint.
Soon after on the 30th June is the 60mile St Barnabas Grimsthorpe Challenge.
It doesn't stop there although I have a few weeks off while Clare my wife completes a 10k run then her first triathlon and then a duathlon.
My final organised event of 2013 will be the Cannock Chase Sportive Ride on the 20th October. It's a 60 mile ride with plenty of hills and the weather could throw anything and everything at me but I am determined to finish on a high!
I am doing my bit to raise money for the South East Cancer Centre in Purley. The centre providing a huge amount of support and care for my Mum during her fight against cancer.
It is an expensive resource to run and I hope that your generous docations will help ensure the centre is available to provide the same support for other sufferers of the big C.
Please be as generous as you can and thanks again for your time.
Cheers
David
