Every other year we choose a charity to work for and this year our charity is the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust. CHECT is a UK wide charity for families and individuals affected by retinoblastoma, a rare type of eye cancer which mainly affects children under 5 years of age. CHECT offer support and information, fund research and raise public awareness of this rare cancer. We want to raise as much hard cash for them as possible.
This year we did a sponsored scavenger hunt in the glorious Lake District, puting brain and brawn to work to raise lots of money for CHECT. Thank you to every one who took part, lets keep the pennies rolling in.
