Thank you for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.
Well, the 2011 Virgin London Marathon has come and gone and I managed to finish in 3:17:47 among 35,000+ finishers on the day. I posted a write-up on the UK Runners World website here:

As I wrote there, thank you to everyone for their support and donations. I appreciate every help that everyone gave - Allis, James, Matthew & India for their support over several weekends of long runs and races; the instructors at Sevenoaks Leisure Centre (Mike and Dia's spin classes helped me to a new level of endurance; and Jo, Chris and Tracey for bodypump classes); DKH Legacy Trust for a place at the T Wells Half; and friends and family for the kind words of encouragement (e.g. "are you insane?").
While the race is over, the DKH Legacy Trust will still welcome further donations.
The DKH Legacy Trust inspires young people to find and fulfil their potential in sport or in life, through their workforce of elite sports performers. In these challenging times and uncertain futures, there is an even greater need to give young people belief and a vision to succeed. Through innovative projects and programmes delivered by the team of inspirational sports performers the Trust helps young people to participate, stay in and excel in sport, and helps disadvantaged young people to find and believe in their own talents.

If you wish to donate towards helping disadvantaged young people to find and believe in their own talents and young people to participate, stay in and excel in sport, then it’s dead easy here at JustGiving. It's also fast, totally secure and the most efficient way to sponsor me.
The DKH Legacy Trust will receive your money more quickly and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra Gift Aid reclaim will be added to your donation at no cost to you. Higher rate taxpayers can also reclaim the difference between basic and higher rate tax via their tax return. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
I appreciate that running marathons for charity has become something of an addiction and that some of you may prefer to donate to other causes. So, if you just want to post a message of support (or abuse!), you can do so here:

Thank you for your support.
Have a wonderful day.
