Barclays Wheels for Change 2016 · 9 September 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

On 9th September, I will join hundreds of other colleagues from Barclays who will cycle a 100km loop from the Lee Valley Velodrome in the Olympic Park, through North-East London, Essex, and back to the Velodrome. This is the furthest I have ever cycled, so the motivation of raising money for a good cause will keep me going!

The Prince's Trust is an amazing charity that helps young people to develop key skills, confidence and motivation to move into employment, education or training through programmes that provide practical and financial support. The focus is on 13-30 year olds who are unemployed, struggling at school or at risk of exclusion.
