Story
Dear all,
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 22 April this year I will be running in the London Marathon to raise as much money as possible for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund, a charity my mother and I have supported for the last 12 months.
Pancreatic Cancer is the fifth most common cause of cancer death, causing five percent of all cancer deaths each year. It also has the lowest survival rate of all cancers with just 3% of those diagnosed surviving for five years. Finally, it is the only cancer that has seen no improvement in five year survival rates over the last 40 years.
The Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is working on many research programmes in an attempt to improve these grim statistics.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
Any contribution you are able to make means a lot to me and more importantly the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund.
Yours sincerely,
David
