Story
Thanks for visiting my Just Giving page. I’m David Oldfield, former Leicester City and Manchester City player and I am asking for your help in raising money for Children Today. I will be leading a team to try to win the PFA Children Today Challenge Cup which takes place in the Grand Canyon in June 2013. I was excited when Children Today asked me to get involved in this and when I learnt more about the charity and how the money raised would be spent to change the lives of children who are living with disability, I was very pleased to join them. I and my team will be trekking, mountain biking and kayak-racing in the desert including the gruelling hike from floor to rim of the Grand Canyon in one day. I can take on the challenge but I need your help to raise the money to provide vital equipment to improve the lives of disabled children and young people all over the UK.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
And, if you think you might want to join me, there are a few places still available so please visit www.childrentoday.org.uk or call 01244 335622 to find out more
