Football to Amsterdam 2019 - London route · 7 June 2019 to 9 June 2019 ·

1 in 8 men will get prostate cancer. At Prostate Cancer UK, we’re giving every man the power to navigate it. With over £100 million invested in research, treatment, and care, we’re building a future where prostate cancer no longer cuts men’s lives short. Together, we can help save men’s lives.

Story

Hi, my name is Dave and I’m a 39 year old overweight Father of 3 who lives Nottingham. I don’t think I’ve ridden a bike since my paper round in the early 90’s so I’ve decided to take part in Football to Amsterdam,
a two day, 145-mile bike ride to the Dutch capital to raise money for Prostate
Cancer. Easy decision!

Prostate Cancer is the most common cancer in men. It’s a disease which kills one man every 45 minutes – that’s two men during a football match. But Prostate Cancer UK know that we can turn it around. Their aim is to make this a disease the next generation need not fear.

I’m riding with 3 amazing colleagues from Howells who are also taking part. We will also be joining 3 other teams in a huge effort to raise £50,000 for this for this worthwhile cause.

Individually we would all love to raise £1200 so if you can, please sponsor us to help us reach our target.
