We'll be running at heavenly Henley-on-Thames on Sunday 11th October. Frances will be doing the 10k event and David's doing the Half Marathon. What can have possessed us to do this apart from being able to eat lots of pies with a clean conscience? Well, there's this lovely charity, the Alexander Devine Children's Cancer Trust which we're determined to help. ADCCT is raising money to build and run a dedicated hospice facility in Berkshire for children suffering with terminal illness. The charity is dedicated to the name of Alexander, a wonderful little boy who sadly died aged 8 after a courageous fight against a brain tumour. Alexander's parents, Fiona and John are the driving force behind the charity.
Please donate whatever you can to support us as we can assure you that (a) it helps us up the hills and (b) you will be supporting a fantastic and well run charitable cause which will deliver real benefits to deserving children and their families.
