Established in 1946 Brathay has a reputation of pioneering work to support children and young people nationwide.

They work with those under the age of 25 who are most disadvantaged or vulnerable, and who have suffered abuse or neglect, social exclusion or who are or who are outside employment, education and training. Their vision is of a society where all children and young people have access to formal and informal education to enable them to fulfil their potential.
