Founded in 2014, Dementia Support is a young, unique charity that provides complete dementia services in one community-based hub, known as Sage House. We provide support and information to anyone wanting to know more about how to live well with dementia, both pre and post diagnosis.

Story

On the 20th July I will be taking part as a contender on the white collar fighter 39 show at bowlers arena Manchester.
I will be fundraising over the next 8 weeks whilst I train up until fight night. I’m doing this in memory of a very special woman, my girlfriends nana ‘Irene Lewis’ - who suffered with dementia up until February 2nd 2017 when she sadly passed away. After watching somebody close to me suffer this horrible illness and see the effects this had not only on her but all of her close family too, I feel there isn’t enough being done for this illness. Any donation is massively appreciated!

Dementia support:
The Dementia Support Hub provideds day care, activities, befriending, counselling, support and advice to those living with dementia, their carers and their families. We also provide dementia friends sessions to help our community be dementia friendly.
