Well with only 1 week left to go now I am back into training. Now having to go out running in the snow ! I have just spent the last 10 days helping WVS neuter and vaccinate over 85 animals. A loop of 5km (ish) starting and finishing at the event village, involving some steep ascent, some forest trails and some water to cross. I will have obstacles to test my nerve and there will be plenty of gradient to test my resolve.

Worldwide Veterinary Service is a registered UK charity whose emphasis is on providing a sustainable veterinary resource to help animal organisations around the world.
We work with all species and our volunteer teams are aimed not only at improving animal welfare but also at benefiting the local communities in which they work. By reducing feral dog populations for example, we can help control zoonotic (infectious to humans) diseases such as rabies and leishmaniasis. By helping train equine paramedics in developing countries we benefit communities that depend on working equines for the mainstay of their economy.
