<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm raising money for the Turbo Trust because it helps people like me to get great powerchairs that are not only comfortable but also feel right and move ‘right’ and can give us back parts of our lives we had almost given up on.</p>
<p>I really like the idea of the Turbo Trust as I have seen too many young people get to 18 and then find they are ‘abandoned’ to cope with unsuitable chairs. The right chair makes such a difference, I cannot go to uni without the right chair, nor can I go for a summer meander with my little ones……………I was so excited to find a chair that not only would lift me up to a reasonable height but would also drop me down so I CAN pick daisies and have a picnic and even weed my garden……..</p>
<p>I have set my target at £16,451 which is how much it will cost to buy my own Dragon powerchair. I would like to raise that much so that I can put back as much as I receive. After I have my own chair I will continue to support the Turbo Trust as the importance of a good chair seems to be a forgotten part of a disabled over 18’s life. I like the way the charity works to support people to make their own choices about what’s best for them.</p>
