Story

So i did it!!!!

The race day came way to quick and all the training i had planned really didn't happen as well as i would have liked it to. None the less, i performed on the day, and completed the Coventry Half Marathon.

By far, it was the hardest thing i have ever done. On training i had done 9 miles, but on the day, even at 6 miles thinking I'm half way there wasn't enough andI genuinely   felt like the miles were not moving any closer to the finish line.

A pain in my leg meant i was unable to continue jogging, even lightly, so i continued to walk as fast as i could towards the finish line. The support from people en route from the general public spectating was amazing and definitely played a part in me believing in myself.

The final stretch was the toughest, however i had Haroon and Barry come and join me from mile 12 and supported me with encouragement until we got into town where a whole load of very load supporters were there giving me the final push to jog to the finish line, just what i needed.

So i did it and i know the money that i and the team have raised will make a huge difference to the lives of many teenagers and it makes it all worth it.

Well id like to start by thanking you for visiting my page.

I shall be running in the Coventry Half Marathon on the 1st March 2015. For those of you who know me, i am NOT a runner lol. I dont like running, i dont like doing anything that means i gta break a sweat lol. So for me, this is a BIG thing.

The reason i signed up was i love to do charity work, and to know i can make a difference in peoples lives. The charity i am doing the run in aid of is The Teenage Cancer Trust. The name speaks for itself and needs to introduction.

Id like to thank Haroon Mota for the encouragement to get me on board and for the support he has been giving me in order to prepare myself for the run. I know the charity means a lot to him, so yh, lets BRING IT ON!!!
