Deaf & Blind Muslims are an integral part of the Muslim Community but how many of our brothers and sisters with sensory impairments are actually able to fully access Islamic Education in the UK? There is virtually no inclusive Islamic Education provision for Deaf and Blind Muslims in the UK. Participation of Deaf and Blind Muslims in Islamic Education is limited, but growing...
Utrujj Foundation, Kitaba (Islamic Texts for the Blind), Al-Isharah, Deaf Da'wah and Muslims Deaf UK (MDUK) are pleased to announce a 2-Day Course in Leeds (12th - 13th February 2011) on 'Taqwa & Knowledge', taught by Shaykh Abdul Aziz Ahmed (Islamic Scholar & Director at Kitaba).
Help us to raise £6,350
Your donation will help support 100 Deaf Muslims to attend this 2 day course for FREE with BSL (British Sign Language). Due to demand and the inclusive nature of this 2-day course, this appeal has been extended to include partially sighted and Blind Muslims, so your donations will be going even further inshallah.

£120 - To support one Deaf/Blind Muslim from London to attend (includes travel from London and accommodation in Leeds)
£52.50 - To support one hour of BSL (British Sign Language)
