Story
So.....
I like to keep fairly active, I go to the gym 2 or 3 times a week and I've been training in Jiu Jitsu for nearly 6 years. However, I really don't like running... at all! So bearing this in mind, I had a somewhat crazy idea....
I've embarked on a huge challenge, I'm running the 2014 London Marathon for the Children's Trust. It's a fantastic charity who help Children with complex health issues, multiple disabilities and brain injuries. Please see some of the work they do via the link on this page.
I've already started my training and can be seen at my local gym or running round the mean streets of Welling with the theme tune to Rocky on repeat.
I'm also making the necessary lifestyle changes...
The first being giving cutting down on drinking fizzy drinks, especially Dr Pepper, (who would have known that something with the word Dr in could be unhealthy....). Secondly, Strawberry and Lime Cider also has to go, (Again, i thought Strawberry and Lime made up 2 of your 5 a day) but i was wrong!
3) Takeaway's, whilst I like to think I have the body of a god (Buddah my Dad says...) the takeaway's have to go..
So I'm swapping the pints for protein shakes and trying to give myself the best possible chance of completing this challenge.
So, this is where you come in! I would be forever grateful if you could donate some money, as much or as little as you can to help the Children's Trust and to support the amazing work they do which helps the lives of children and their families all across the UK.
Thanks for all your support
