In the past 21 years, over 21,000 people with epilepsy have died suddenly and died too young. SUDEP Action’s Prevent21 campaign shines a light on this shocking disaster. With a significant change of attitude, culture, and action towards epilepsy - many lives CAN be saved. Knowledge saves lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 15th April I will be running the Brighton Marathon. For all of you that know me, you will know that this is a massive thing for me, im not what you would call a 'runner!'

I am running for SUDEP (sudden unexpected death in epilepsy) a fantastic charity providing information and support to bereaved families, friends and carers who have lost a loved one through epilepsy.

A close friend of mine lost his son through epilepsy and SUDEP helped him and his family through that time. I will be running not only for SUDEP but in his memory.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
