St. David's Hospice Care provides free community-based hospice care to people with cancer or any other life threatening illness living in Gwent and Mid/South Powys. Your donations help us to provide the services that give patients a real choice about where they spend their final days.

Story

As the newly formed Sky Cycling Team had it's full roster of cyclists, our services weren't required for this years Tour De France, so as we were left twiddling our thumbs with what to do with our overwhelming fitness, we thought we'd put our highly toned torso's to some charity work.

So, a gruelling 44 kilometre flatland journey from Caldicot Castle to the Newport Wetlands seemed an achievable task.... just joking, we thought we'd tag along to the well organised event and make some cash for a more than just cause!

On a serious note, St David's Foundation need your charity more than ever, to help patients and their families cope with progressive life-threatening illnesses which are no longer curable.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

And should you fancy it, come and take the mickey out of Dean & Paul riding their bikes... badly! x
