Story

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for visiting my page. I am running the Manchester marathon on the 6th April 2014 to help raise £150,000 for Barry's Project 150. The project was started by Barry Thompson, his way of giving back to The Chrisite hospital after they supported him and his family over the last few years. The £150,000 will be used to build a new 'high-efficiency particulate air' room at The Christie hospital as part of the new Young Oncology unit.

I have never run a marathon, and before starting my training had never run more than 13.1 miles, a half marathon in September 2012.

I'll be part of a team of 150+ runners on the day all there to raise money for Barry's Project 150.

Your support and donations are greatly appreciated, please give generously and help me hit my target!

Thanks all, wish me luck! (I'll need it!)

Dean
