Earlier on this year I got the chance to apply for a completely mad challenge, and got accepted to join my managing director at work and 20 others to cycle 500km from Lhasa to Kathmandu, via Mt. Everest.</p> <p>Our ride will take 9 days and include a trip to Everest Base Camp. We will start in Tibet and cycle 500km all the way to Nepal. We will be cycling over 5 major mountain passes, including one of the highest in the world at over 17000ft. Oxygen will be a bit of a&nbsp;luxury while cycling over 'the roof of the world'.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
