WELL AFTER 2 FALSE ALARMS DUE TO BAD WEATHER I FINALLY JUMPED OUT OF THAT PLANE ON THE 15TH AUGUST ( ALSO MY DADS 60TH BIRTHDAY )
THE WEATHER WAS AMAZING AND THE EXPERIENCE ALTHOUGH SOMETHING I WOULDNT RUSH OUT TO DO AGAIN IN A RUSH WITHOUT A DAMN GOOD REASON ( CHECK OUT THE REAL EXPRESSION IN MY EYES !! ) I WOULD TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY RECOMMEND ANYONE DO IT FOR THE ADRENALIN RUSH AND THE 'THIS IS AS NEAR TO HEAVEN AS IM GONNA GET TYPE FEELING' !!!!
I HAVE BEEN VERY TOUCHED BY EVERYONES SUPPORT TO WHAT IS A REALLY GREAT AND WORTHY CAUSE AS ST MARYS HOSPICE HAS LIKE A LOT OF CHARITIES BEEN HAVING A HARD TIME LATELY SO IM SO GLAD TO BE GIVING SOMETHING BACK TO THEM.THEY LOOKED AFTER OUR PRECIOUS NAN AND FAMILY SO WELL DURING A TERRIBLE TIME.
ANYTHING THAT WOULD MAKE ME WEAR THAT SUIT AND HAT WHILST BEING NOT AT THE SLIMMEST PART OF MY LIFE HAS GOTTA BE WORTH IT RIGHT ? !!
I SERIOUSLY COULDNT BELIEVE THAT THE CAMERAMAN COULD JUMP OUT OF THE PLANE AND KEEP FOCUSED ON ME DURING THE 35 SECOND FREEFALL - THAT REALLY IS A SKILL EY ?!
THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE !

ORIGIONAL STORY BELOW :
I am doing a 14500 ft Tandem SkyDive in aid of The Hospice that cared so amazingly for my wonderful Nan Maureen as they rely mostly on charity to fund their services and would so love to give something back to them. St Marys Hospice truly is a special place both the staff working there and the support they offer in such a difficult time cannot be more appreciated. Please read more about them below left.
The SkyDive is already paid for as was a Xmas present from my crazy husband so ALL the funds raised will go to St Marys Hospice. Please also tick the Gift Aid option it makes such a difference to your donation ( info below )
The photos attached are from a cruise we went on in 2009 just after Nan was diagnosed with Mesothelioma - a terminal chest cancer that develops between 15 and 60 years after exposure to asbestos. Nan exceeded all expectations amazing the medical people involved in her care. She fought a terrible illness with courage determination and most importantly a fantastic sense of humour !
I am so proud to have called Nan my own, she was a true inspiration to many both friends and family alike, she was generous with her time and love, nothing being too much effort for her. She loved life and shown others with her own spirit to face things head on and to keep smiling !
Nan was glamorous and modern often telling us girls in the family what we should and shouldnt be wearing and even had a facebook page before me ! She was funny, strong minded, fiercely independent and an anchor of the family.
We will all miss her love and laughter.
PLEASE DIG DEEP !! APOLOGIES IF MY TARGET SEEMS OUT OF REACH I PROMISE TO BE VERY VERY SCARED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKYOU SOOOOO MUCH XXXXXXXXXXXXX
I plan to do the SkyDive on Mesothelioma day on Friday 2nd July ( weather dependent )
