My local cricket club Blunham CC has nearly 100 colt players aged 14 and under plus several older colts still keen to improve thier game. However the training facilites and clubhouse we currently have are basic to say the least, as a club we are aiming to raise £40,000 to cover refurbishment and a small extension to our clubhouse and also improve the training nets we currently have.

To raise this we are planning on breaking the World record for the longest continous game of cricket in the World.......ever!!!!!!! We aim to set a record of 59 hours (starting at 9am friday morning, finishing at 8pm sunday night).From the 19th of September to the 21st. It's not going to be easy seeing as we have to play on regardless of weather conditions and through the night (with the aid of flood lights). Also there's a good chance I might get a bowl which is worth sponsorship in its self!
