I work with Mo (Luca's Dad) he's a smashing fella, one of the best. 3 months ago Mo's world was turned upside down due to Luca's illness. I've seen stuff like this in the local paper and on TV but never has anything like this touched me in such a way. Maybe it's because I have two wonderful healthy children and just can't begin to imagine what Mo and his family are going through.

I've not met Luca, but I've read so much about him, he must be the bravest 3 year old on the planet and my heart goes out to him and indeed to his mum and dad and little brother, they are all so very brave.

I feel helpless, all I know is that Luca will need a lifetime of care and support and so anything we can do now will help, cycling round Rutland Water is nothing, but our collective funds will help in some small way.
