Brian and I are doing a 17mile walk over the Yorkshire Moors on May 26th. Our Great friend Xanah was unfortunate to suffer a loss last winter that was heartbreaking for her and her close friend Sarah Poole. Baby Rowan was born with SMA and unfortunately we lost her at only 18 months. This would have been the 2nd birthday of Rowan, a little girl that we never met however through our friend Xanah we met Rowan's Mum Sarah Poole and her strength and bravery inspired us to join Team Rowan and raise money for The SMA Trust. It will go towards Research among many other beneficial things like raising awareness about this genetic disorder.
