We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Imagine every day not knowing the world around you, each day can be a struggle and an emotional jumble.

Every penny raised will go towards funding research and development, and through supporting their funding the Alzheimer's society can continue to support and lobby to strive to influence government policies and raise awareness of the challenges faced by people with dementia and the people who care for them.

My Nanna passed away from dementia; I am cycling in memory of this amazing lady, who went from a strong independent lady to needing full time care.

This is also a personal challenge for me; I have only recently re learned how to ride a bike again!

On May 7 2012 I shall be cycling and travelling over 180 miles across the country from Morecambe Bay in Lancashire, all the way across to Bridlington in North Yorkshire -along the way of the Roses, I will be joined by my fantastic friends, for an adventure and a challenge of a lifetime.
