Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of my family and friends know my next door neighbour's daughter became very ill last year.

'Ruby has stage 4, high risk neuroblastoma – an aggressive childhood cancer. As with more than half of children diagnosed with neuroblastoma, the cancer has spread throughout Ruby’s body making her condition one of the most difficult kinds of childhood cancer to treat.'

I have seen this little girl go through so much, including operations, hair loss, chemotherapy and having to spend weeks in hospital. Her family have had the worst experience over the past year so I have decided to try and raise a little money for this good cause.

On Saturday 3rd October I will be taking part in Bear Grylls 5K survival race. This means I will be completing 20 survival obstacles over 5k. I'm sure it will include climbing walls, crawling through mud and carrying heavy objects. I think it will be a challenge but if I have a reason for doing it then I'm sure I can get through it.

Thanks for reading my story and please support my good cause.
