Story
19th June 2013 - Thank you all so much for your generous donations and kind words of encouragement. I am proud to say that with all your support and that of family cycling with me or waiting to cheer me across the finish line on the day ....I did it! I rode 54 miles from London to Brighton! More importantly, over £1200.00 has been raised for the Lynda Jackson MacMillan Centre in Mount Vernon – thank you all x
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.
After much cajoling from participating family members I have agreed and indeed signed up to join them for this year’s London to Brighton Bike Ride on Sunday 16 June! 54 miles in total….it is quite a scary thought but I am determined to do it.
I would love to raise as much money as I can for the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre situated within the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, Northwood. This is a semi voluntary unit which offers support and information for cancer patients and their relatives. Their kindness, knowledge and time are invaluable to those dealing with cancer diagnosis, treatment and the after effects. They are an amazing team.
If you would like to sponsor me for this moment (or hours!!) of madness it would really help me to keep on pedalling on the day.
