Story
This is Alex and he is one of Jessica's friends. He (and his persuasive Mum) are the reason I am going to face one of my fears and hopefully raise money for a very worthy charity.
Alex has cerebral palsy and he and other children with similar disabilities attend Rainbow House in Eccleston, Lancashire.
Rainbow House works with children between the ages of 3months and 16 years to help them become more active and independant. Each child has different needs such as sitting, standing, walking, eating etc. and the charity treat each child individually and work them and the parents/carers to help them lead as normal a life as possible.
The challenge I have is to abseil 140ft from the top of the North Stand at Old Trafford football ground. Some of you may think this will be an easy task given some of the other things I have done in the past but I have only attempted an abseil once and ended up walking back down the hill crying because I had not been brave enough to go through with it!
So please donate whatever you can to support this fantastic charity and give me the courage to take the plunge
Thank you very much for your support
Debbie

PS The abseil is on Sunday Sept 6th
