Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So I set myself a challenge for 2013 to run the London Marathon after 3/4 months of training Sunday the 21st April arrived and it was time to put all that hard training into practice, on a beautiful hot and sunny day at Greenwich Park at around 10am we had the 30 seconds silence to respect those Marathon Runners and Spectators in Boston then it was time to set off on my 26.2 miles to wave to the Queen at Buckingham Palace !!!!!
I can honestly say that running the London Marathon for such an amazing charity was one of the best experiences of my life, other than when my beautiful daughter Grace was born, you can see from my picture that i completed the London Marathon and have my medal (like a gold medal to me) to prove that i finished, this was not only a massive achievenment for myself this also meant that i can be extremley proud of the money that i want to raise to give to Whizz Kidz, please do not under estimate what my £2000 will do to support a child here are an estimated 70,000 disabled children and young people in the UK waiting for a wheelchair that fits their young lives, these children are waiting to have fun, to go out to play. They are waiting on someone to come and take them to where they want to go, to school to the park or see their friends, this is where Whizz Kidz comes in and makes a difference they provide essential wheelchairs and other mobility equipment they need to lead a fun and active childhoods. Please dig deep and help make a difference to these children in 2013.
