Yes its true Debbie & Becky are going to the Great Wall of China to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care!!!
As most of you will know you would normally find us in the Mortons rather than the gym, but we have decided to raise money by taking on a real challenge!!
The trek is for 9 days in total with travelling, and we will be walking for up to 7 hours a day up a steep pathway! As you can imagine we will need to train hard before, and have been very kindly offered help from a friend in order to get us up to the challenge.
Luckily for us we have also got a fab group of friends who will help us raise some of our sponsorship by holding small events throughout the year running up to the trek, but we need the help of all our other family and friends, so thats why we have set up this page!! We'd be sooooooo grateful if you could sponsor us a small amount to help us reach our £6,000 target!
The money raised will help the brilliant Marie Curie Nurses to continue the fantastic job that they do. Marie Curie nurses are there to care for terminally ill people in their own homes, which means an awful lot to some families who dont want their loved ones to spend their final days in hospital. They are also a great support to the families as they give them the chance to get some rest, and are there to listen to any questions or concerns. So please help us to reach our target!

Well so far we have raised 80% or our target! Taking our total to £4,800.77!!!!
We've done this with the help of our fab friends, and lots of events which ive listed below!
Then we held a Halloween Party - Raising £273.11
We also Climbed Snowdon x 2
Funday on 24th July raising £498.00 - Was expecting to raise more but due to bad whether was kind of rained off!
Charity Night at the Morton Arms - around £328.00
Collection Tin from my lovely cousin Jen - £46.00
Pub crawl in our P.J's - £400.00
