There are moments which mark your life, mine was losing my mum. A brave woman whose short life was dedicated to doing so much for others. She treated everyone around her with kindness, she listened, she smiled, she cared and she did everything in her power to make a difference. Sadly, the wonderful work of The Christie couldn’t save her or other angels who have been part of my life but I know she’d want me to carry on her legacy by remembering it costs nothing to be kind and it feeds the soul to always make time to give something back for the good of others. So although I never find this challenge easy, the struggle is soon forgotten when I think that the money raised will perhaps save the next person from becoming an angel too soon.
