Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So here we are again!
Mark and I have taken part in each of the University’s Big Walks since
2015 and can’t wait for 22 June when we’ll be covering a marathon-distance route in the Peak District to raise funds for the Sheffield Scanner, the first MRI-PET imaging facility in Yorkshire.

MRI-PET is the most advanced imaging technology to date, and
this scanner will transform our understanding of serious conditions like cancer, dementia, heart and lung diseases, Alzheimers and Parkinsons.
Since Mark’s brush with cancer earlier this year when he had a melanoma successfully removed, we have been acutely aware of the importance of a speedy diagnosis and new treatment options. An MRI-PET scanner will help the University’s researchers to make faster progress in their work towards curing a wide range of diseases, and this will have huge benefits for patients in Sheffield, Yorkshire and beyond.

Please donate to this fantastic cause and help us make the Big Walk 2018 another huge success!
