Story

MS CHALLENGE 2011 - DEBBIE'S DIRT DEVILS!!!!

I'm taking part in the above challenge on 25th June 2011 and am looking for sponsorship for the event.

The challenge is for a team of 12 to carry a Wheelchair Passenger with MS (namely me) safely over a demanding hill course. The course is approx 10 miles and is across the Brecon Beacons.

MS is a progressive condition affecting the central nervous system. It strikes men and women at random and without warning, often in the prime of life. Symptons include severe problems with balance, limb function and movement, massive fatigue, visual impairment and speech difficulties. There is no cure but much can be done to manage symptons.

The MS Therapy Centre provides a range of professionally administered sympton management services - ranging from hydrotherapy and dietary help through to counselling and physiotherapy for sufferers, carers and family members, and is in touch with over 800 local MS people. All funding is provided entirely through voluntary donations and money raising efforts.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
