Story
When we were told the dreadful news that Charlie, our unborn son had a brain disorder called Holoprosencephaly we were devastated, confused and felt very alone. A midwife gave us a small book written by Antenatal Results and Choices (ARC) who offer support and friendship to those in the terrible situation we found ourselves.
Since Charlie died in 2003 we've been blessed with 2 healthy children, but a part of me is still missing our first little boy. Everyone who knows me will testify that I am not in the least bit sporty, exercise mad or energetic, so when I bill this 5K as a mini marathon to me it will feel like a full marathon!!
Please dig deep and help this wonderful charity to keep on giving support and information to families who need it and help them to train medical professionals to make a truely devestating diagnosis just a little less painful.
Thank you in advance.
