Jerusalem Marathon 2013 · 1 March 2013 ·

Emunah in Israel helps thousands of children and families on a daily basis through its network of residential homes, high schools, day care and community centres and therapy and counselling services. British Emunah fundraises to support 36 projects in Israel.

Story

Emunah in Israel helps thousands of children on a daily basis through its network of residential homes, high schools, day care centres and therapy and counselling centres. Emunah is one of the primary social welfare organisations in Israel.

We are part of Bnei Akiva's Torani programme studying in Midrashot in Israel on our gap year, and on one of our past Shabbat's, we were treated to spending it at the Emunah home in Afula which we thouroughly enjoyed whilst looking after many disadvantaged children. The amazing work that Emunah do for these children on a daily basis, through the therapies and individual care is vital to their upbringing.

Consequently, we have decided to each run 10km in the Jerusalem marathon to raise money and awareness for this amazing charity that is beneficial to hundreds of children and families throughout Israel.

Thank you so much for all your donations.
