On 12th February 2011 I will be attempting to climb Mt Meru and Kilimanjaro in support of Arfican Prisons Project a UK registered charity founded to improve the welfare, health and education of detainees in Africa.

Mt Meru is an active volcano located 43 miles to the West of Mt Kilimanjaro and stands at a height of 4566m (14980 ft), it will take approximately 4 days to climb. Following this I will then attempt to climb Mt Kilimanjaro, Africas highest mountain and stands at a height of 5895m (19340ft). It will take approximately 6 days to climb.

The trip is completly self funded, therefore all proceeds will go directly to African Prisons Project.
