Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 28 January 2012 I walked round the ancient city walls of Jerusalem more than three time times to raise money for three charities: Jeel al Amal Boys Home in Bethany, Al Shurooq Blind School in Bethlehem and Bethlehem Society for Rehabilitation. I was part of a group of more than 70 people, all of them supporters of the McCabe Educational Trust, established by my brother-in-law. We visited the beneficiary projects, all in desperate need of funds to maintain the facilities and continue the work to help children who not only suffer physical disabilities but also emotional trauma and deprivation. In the current times of political agitation and the growing isolation of communities as a result of the separation wall, they need our help more than ever as they no longer have access to the major facilities in Jerusalem. Thank you so much to all my generous sponsors, who have helped me exceed my target. Every single penny goes to the charities and will be very well spent!.
